Oat-milk package design Sam’s Club/ The Green Dairy
I worked on the packaging design for a milk product developed for The Green Dairy and sold through Sam’s Club in China. My primary responsibility was creating the core visual concept, which drew on kurbits, a traditional Swedish ornamental folk art style, reinterpreted through a contemporary graphic lens to position the product within a Scandinavian design narrative while remaining commercially clear in an international retail context.
My concept work centered on reinterpreting Swedish cultural heritage as a contemporary packaging expression. I used kurbits-inspired forms, color rhythm, and flowing illustration to communicate origin, warmth, and quality, while avoiding the expected “Nordic minimalism” route in favor of something more expressive and specific. Together with a Creative Director, I developed the design through to final production, refining hierarchy, composition, and print-aware details so the original idea remained clear and intact in the finished product.
